Vaccine
In February 2014, it was announced that Ian Frazer, one of the primary researchers behind Gardasil, the genital warts and cervical cancer vaccine, has been working on new vaccine against genital herpes which has passed human safety trials in a trial of 20 Australians. The new vaccine is designed to work for both preventing new infections and to cure current patients.
