There's only one lab in the world that runs the Western Blot for herpes:
The University of Washington Virology Lab. Unless the blood was shipped
to Seattle, I don't see how a Western Blot could have been performed in
China. It could be a matter of how the name of the test was translated,
or perhaps a lab using a name that sounds as if it were a Western Blot -
when it really is not.
However, if the test you had was an IgG test for herpes antibodies in
the blood, it is probably at least 92 percent reliable - as long as you
waited at least 4 months after any possible exposure (meaning the last
time you had sex) before the blood was done.
